Why I Started Sift & Sort
In 2019, I lost my mom. She didn’t have plans in place, and in the middle of my grief, I had to make difficult decisions, sort through years of belongings, and carry a heavy emotional load. It was one of the hardest times of my life, and it changed me forever.
That experience opened my eyes to how important it is to be prepared and organized—not to chase perfection, but to make life a little easier for ourselves and for the people we love. I realized how many families are left overwhelmed during already painful moments, unsure where to begin.
I’ve lived in Palm Coast for over 30 years. I graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School and earned an associate degree in Interior Design and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Daytona State College. My roots in this community run deep, and giving back has always been part of who I am. After losing my mom, I knew I wanted to help others in a more personal and meaningful way.
Sift & Sort was created from that turning point. It is my way of helping people through emotional transitions by bringing calm, order and support into their lives. This work is about more than organizing. It is about creating space to breathe, heal and move forward with peace of mind.

Sift & Sort Your Life

Giving Back
Sift & Sort is dedicated to giving usable items a new purpose and placing them in the hands of neighbors who truly need them. With your permission, unwanted clothing, household goods and furnishings are donated to trusted local organizations such as Family Life Center, Furniture Resale and Christmas Come True, which support families facing crisis, displacement and difficult transitions.
We also work with other community resources so your thoughtfully released belongings can bring comfort, dignity and a fresh start to someone else.
