A collaboration with Cathy McDermott, owner of Hear for You Mobile Audiology, and Brodsky’s business, Sift & Sort a local downsizing company, received a donation of a CaptionCall phone.

Brodsky received a donation of a CaptionCall phone, a specialized device designed for individuals with hearing loss. Wanting to ensure it reached someone in need, she reached out to Cathy McDermott of Hear for You Mobile Audiology, a trusted local audiologist who provides in-home hearing care throughout the Palm Coast area.
When Brodsky asked if she had a client who could benefit, McDermott immediately responded, “As a matter of fact, I do.” The recipient is a retired mother who recently relocated to Palm Coast from upstate New York. Although she wears hearing aids, she continues to struggle with phone conversations, making it difficult to stay connected with her family.
